Yes. No appointment is necessary.
Most customers simply walk in during business hours with their coins, gold, silver, jewelry, currency, or collectibles.
Do I Need An Appointment?
No.
If you have a few coins, some gold, silver, jewelry, paper money, or an inherited coin collection, you can just bring it in.
Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is required.
The main time we ask customers to call ahead is when they are bringing an unusually large collection or estate.
When we say “large,” we mean truly large. Multiple vehicles, truckloads of material, large estates, or situations where additional staff may be needed.
Many customers describe their collection as large, only to arrive with a few albums, boxes, or binders. That is perfectly normal and does not require an appointment.
The purpose of calling ahead is not to reserve a time slot. It is simply to give us advance notice when a collection is so large that we need to make sure additional staff is available.
Large Bullion Transactions
Very large bullion transactions are usually best handled during normal market hours, when gold and silver prices can be locked in immediately.
This does not mean you need an appointment for ordinary gold or silver items. It simply means that extremely large bullion deals are easier to price during active market hours.
The Bottom Line
No appointment is necessary.
Most customers can simply walk in with coins, gold, silver, jewelry, currency, or collectibles and we will take a look.
If you are bringing an unusually large estate or truckload of material, calling ahead is helpful. Otherwise, just come in during business hours.
